This book is an attempt to recognize and reinforce the existing argument in the Determiner Phrases (DP) literature that the structure of the DP corresponds to the structure of the clause. The work innovatively engages with a structuring of the nominal left-periphery containing multiple topic and focus phrases, and wh-movement to similar positions in both DPs and CPs in the Indo-Aryan language Bangla.
