David Campbell has worked as a freelance news media producer and content specialist for many years, including roles at IBM, the BBC, various internet consultancies, and the civil service. He has a broad range of interests in literature and history, including the Middle Ages, the Napoleonic era, naval warfare and the genesis of the "Military Revolution." He lives in Southsea, UK. Peter Dennis was born in 1950. Inspired by contemporary magazines such as Look and Learn he studied Illustration at Liverpool Art College. Peter has since contributed to hundreds of books, predominantly on historical subjects, including many Osprey titles. A keen wargamer and model-maker, he is based in Nottinghamshire, UK.
