In this study, the phenylpropanoid verbascoside, identified by NMR, which has pharmacological activities such as antioxidant, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and gastroprotective, was isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction of the aerial parts of Buddleja stachyoides Cham. & Schltdl. The analytical method using high-performance liquid chromatography was developed and validated to quantify the verbascoside content present in the crude alcoholic extract of the aerial parts. It proved to be reliable, sensitive, precise, simple and low-cost, as well as meeting all the validation parameters required ...
