In this work, we reported the in vitro antimicrobial activity of silver nanoparticles synthesized by a green method using Garcinia cambogia fruit extract and were tested against one bacterial strain (Escherichia coli) and one fungus (Candida albicans) of clinical interest using the agar well diffusion method and Biogenic silver nanoparticles showed a higher inhibitory effect against Escherichia coli than Candida albicans.
