Given the current state of the technology, project teams in th virtual environment can operate very efficiently, without relying on the benefits of direct interaction and communication. The main objective was to identify the challenges regarding the management of the teams in the virtual environment within the international projects, as well as some effectivesolutions to overcome them, in order to increase the performance of the team in the virtual environment and therefore, to increase the international projects success rate.
