Dr. Siddhartha Bhattacharyya [FIET(UK), FIEI, FIETE, LFOSI, FSCRS, SMIEEE, SMACM, SMAAIA, SMIETI, LMCSI, LMISTE] is currently serving as a Senior Researcher in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of VSB Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic. He also serves as the Scientific Advisor of Algebra University College, Zagreb, Croatia. Before this, he served as the Principal of Rajnagar Mahavidyalaya, Rajnagar, Birbhum. He served as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Christ University, Bangalore. He was the Principal of RCC Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata, India. He has also served as a Senior Research Scientist in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of VSB Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic. He is the recipient of several coveted awards, including the Distinguished HoD Award and Distinguished Professor Award conferred by the Computer Society of India, Mumbai Chapter, India, in 2017, the Honorary Doctorate Award (D. Litt.) from The University of South America, and the South East Asian Regional Computing Confederation (SEARCC) International Digital Award ICT Educator of the Year in 2017. He was an ACM Distinguished Speaker for 2018–2020. He was inducted into the People of ACM Hall of Fame by ACM, USA, in 2020. He was the IEEE Computer Society Distinguished Visitor for 2021–2023. He is a full foreign member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RANS) and the Russian Academy of Engineering (REA). He is a full fellow of The Royal Society for the Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce (RSA), London, UK. He is a co-author of 7 books and the co-editor of 114 books and has more than 400 research publications in international journals and conference proceedings to his credit. Dr. Jyoti Sekhar Banerjee is currently serving as the Associate Professor & Head of the Department in the Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) Department at the Bengal Institute of Technology, Kolkata, India. He is also the Professor-in-Charge, R & D and Consultancy Cell & Nodal Officer of the IPR Cell of BIT. Since 2024, he also works as a Remote Researcher in the Internet of THings & AppliCAtions Lab (ITHACA) at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Western Macedonia, Greece. Dr. Banerjee is also working as the Adjunct Research Faculty under the Lincoln Global Postdoctoral Researcher (LGPR) Programme at Lincoln University College, Malaysia. He is the former Remote Research Fellow of the Cognitive Computing and Brain Informatics Research Group (CCBI) at Nottingham Trent University (NTU), UK. Dr. Banerjee did his Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Nottingham Trent University, UK, in the Department of Computer Science. He also completed the Post Graduate Diploma in IPR & TBM from MAKAUT, WB. He has teaching and research experience spanning 21 years and completed one IEI funded project. He is the present Secretary-cum-Treasurer of the ISTE WB Section and Secretary of the IETE, Kolkata Centre. He is the Immediate Past Secretary of the Computer Society of India, Kolkata Chapter. Dr. Banerjee is also elected as the Vice Chairman Cum Chairman Elect in Computer Society of India, Kolkata Chapter for the year 2025-2027. Dr. Debashis De is a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, India. He received M.Tech. from the University of Calcutta, in 2002. and a Ph.D. from Jadavpur University in 2005. He is a senior member-IEEE, fellow IETE, and life member CSI. He was awarded the prestigious Boyscast Fellowship by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to work at the Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, UK. He received the Endeavour Fellowship Award from 2008–2009 by DEST Australia to work at the University of Western Australia. He received the Young Scientist award both in 2005 in New Delhi and in 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey, from the International Union of Radio Science, Belgium. In 2016, he received the JC Bose research award from IETE, New Delhi. Dr. Mufti Mahmud is a Professor at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia, where he directs the Cognitive Computing and Brain Informatics research group. Earlier,he had held academic tenure at Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom, where he led research initiatives and assumed senior administrative roles such as coordinating the Computer Science Research Excellence Framework's B11 unit, member of the shadow university executive team, and directing the Cognitive Computing & Brain Informatics research group. Dr. Mahmud has been recognised with several accolades, including the 2021 Vice-Chancellor’s Outstanding Researcher Award and prestigious funding as a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow, and secured approximately £4 million from esteemed agencies such as the European Union and the British Council. With an extensive portfolio of over 400 peer-reviewed research outputs, he has been consistently ranked among the top 2% of cited scientists in the field of Computer Science since 2021. His leadership extends to influential roles within professional societies, including serving as Chair (2023-2024) and Vice-Chair (2020-2022) of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society's (CIS) Technical Committee on Intelligent Systems Applications; participating as a member of the Brain Informatics and CIS Health Systems Technical Committees; and serving as an elected member of the Board of Governors of the Asia-Pacific Neural Network Society (APNNS) for the term 2025-2026. He is an active editorial board member for prominent journals such as Cognitive Computation, Brain Informatics, Frontiers in Neuroscience, and the IEEE Open Journal of Computer Society. Furthermore, Dr. Mahmud has chaired several international conferences, including ICONIP 2024, IEEE/WIC WI-IAT 2025, the Brain Informatics Conference (2020-2022), and the Applied Intelligence and Informatics Conference (2021-present). He serves as the chief editor of multiple scholarly book series, notably the Applied Intelligence and Informatics series published by Springer Nature, the Smart Health System series by CRC Press, and the Decentralised Systems and Future Internet series with Scrivener/Wiley. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK), and holds senior memberships with IEEE and the ACM, along with memberships in BCS, INNS, APNNS, APA, and Sigma Xi.
