To many readers around the world including Macedonia, the story won't mean anything very special; many will take it only as some literary work of suspicious value. Those women who have gone through something similar as the protagonist Stone Hardrock here, will probably find something personal lost somewhere in between these pages, and perhaps find strength enough to raise their voices against family violence, and violent, tyrant husbands. Stone is still fighting insomnia, still searching for a ray of light in her life... If only her sons would get married and give her grandchildren!...
