For systems with rejections, consisting of heterogeneous channels, we examine the insensitivity of the stationary characteristics with respect to the form of the service-time distributions. We consider three ways of distribution of customers by channels of the queueing system: equiprobable distribution by free channels, equiprobable distribution by all channels, and ordered distribution. For systems with waiting we define the stationary characteristics that are insensitive with respect to the form of the distribution of service time and interarrival time of customers. For certain queueing systems with threshold switching of functioning modes we prove the insensitivity of the stationary characteristics with respect to the form of the service-time distribution in the state of overload mode. The book is intended for researchers and students engaged in the study of queueing systems.
