Daniil Kovalenko was born in Ukraine in 2005. He started writing at the age of 8. He studied in Poland, where he faced the difficulties of emigration without knowing the language. After studying in Poland, he returned to Ukraine and went to school in Kyiv, but not for long, as shortly before he turned 17, he woke up to a ballistic missile explosion near his house, which eventually forced him to leave his country again and move to Germany, where he currently lives.
