Despite these resources (abundant indigenous knowledge and efforts of actors), success has not been optimum. This book, which considered indigenous and modern agricultural practices, examined the knowledge basis of farmers in the Sissala districts of northern Ghana and modern agricultural technologies development and introduction to ascertain adoption mode. The book therefore makes available insights in this regard for instances the knowledge basis of farmers, the influences of this knowledge systems in relation to technologies development and introduction or delivery.
