However, he remained hopeful and held to the truth that his mind was not imprisoned. He deeply reflected on his life, and accepted rehabilitation for transformation. He utilized the opportunity of the education programs in prison. He resumed high school, studied, and attained a bachelor's degree in law, among other awards. He repented of his sins and reconciled with his accusers. He continued to encourage and support his family. By the time of his release in 2019, his wife and children, members of his extended family, and the entire village waited and received him as a hero!
