Obesity in children is a worldwide problem and the consequences are beginning to emerge from the early childhood: from resistance to insulin, glucose intolerance to hypertension and metabolic syndrome. The present study aims to investigate a method by which childhood obesity can be reduced. It is a health camp, which is for overweight children or children with obesity and wants to produce a significant weight loss that lasts throughout adult life.

Autor

Iulia Hadarean was born on 29th of july 1991 in Cluj-Napoca city, Romania. She graduated University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Iuliu Häieganu", Faculty of Pharmacy specialization Dietetics in 2010 and started her career of education people in nutritition and dietetics. Today, Iulia encourages people and children to achieve a healthy life.
