This study is conducted to address the problems and miseries of families faced with thalassemia child. Their is a Need to implement the premarital screening in Pakistan to reduce the disease of thalassemia like Grace, Turkey, Iran which they compulsory implemented the premarital screening. In the present research the author addressed the needs of Thalassemia Patients and their families during treatment and identify the barriers they faced. Government, NGOs, Philanthropist, Social Workers should play the important role to minimize the miseries of Thalassemia Families in Pakistan. The health care providers should be encouraged to talk about Thalassemia as a public health problem in Pakistan and should enhance the public awareness to eliminate the Thalassemia in Pakistan.
