Satisfaction scores of residents were computed and comparison across different wards of the city was done. UGI score for Thane city and satisfaction score of resident respondents were compared to discern effectiveness of governance of TMC. Preferred agency for overall infrastructure provision in Thane was also investigated to know the future scope of public- private partnership. The indicators framework approach proposed by Maharashtra Pollution Control Board was applied to compute an EPI. This may help ULBs in better governance of the city.
