D. WALSH GILBERT is the author of the poetry chapbook Ransom published by Grayson Books in 2017 and Once the Earth had Two Moons (CERASUS Poetry, 2022). An avid writer of nature, her work was included in the anthology, Waking Up to the Earth: Connecticut Poets in a Time of Global Climate Crisis. She serves on the board of the non-profit, Riverwood Poetry Series, and as co-editor of Connecticut River Review
