During the investigation, she's approached by the former Legionnaire, Gregory Arsenault, who offers to help her find his former partner Aziz, but with conditions. In the middle of the investigation, Genevieve is pressed by her lover, Hector Dupont into revealing a secret she'd hope to never relive. In the end, she must decide between accepting Arsenault's terms and pursue her to capture the smuggler and put her loyalties as an officer to the test, or ignore his offer and lose the one chance to close her case.
