Author was also motivated to write this book when his identity was actually stolen at a local grocery store. The experience was traumatic and emotionally painful. The experience of this crime lives in the minds of its victims forever. No one talks much about this crime until they realize someone has taken something so personal and private it is difficult to imagine the reality of the theft.
