The one saving grace to a horrible marriage is a loving child. Sometimes even having one saving grace can't save you from going to the dark path. And if you do, you forfeit the people who bring light to that darkness. If anyone can walk away with one thing from Ron, it's that the light will always destroy the darkness. He learned too late and struggled to recapture that light for just one moment.
