I Am a Great Work in Progress: Learning to Ride a Unicycle

Dr. Kredenna Beverly is a Louisiana native. She and her twin sister, Dr. Katina Beverly, are board-certified pediatric dentists who graduated from Southern University A&M College and Howard University College of Dentistry. Drs. Katina and Kredenna Beverly are accomplished unicyclists, and together, they share the joy of family, a passion for pediatric dentistry, and a love of unicycling. In 2018, they founded the Unicycling Society of Louisiana. Its mission is to foster social and athletic interest and promote the healthy, wholesome sport of unicycling among children in Louisiana. The society teaches people to embrace their differences and unique personal attributes to be productive citizens in the world. Dr. Kredenna Beverly's love for her daughters and the joy of unicycling inspired her to write and share her story.
