These violations include land rights, environmental degradation, the right to a healthy environment and the right to health. In order to guarantee compliance with the legal standards that protect human rights, it is imperative that multinationals observe the texts, as the most salient aspect of these violations is that they affect women in particular, who pay a heavy price. However, although the legal framework for the protection of human rights in the face of the activities of multinationals has been defined, various violations persist.
