Dr. Ashok Kumar Sah wurde im Bezirk Saptari in Nepal geboren. Er studierte an der HNB Garhwal University in Indien, wo er zwei Abschlüsse erwarb: BSc und MSc in medizinischer Laborwissenschaft. Als Stipendiat setzte er seine Forschung an der Glocal University, Saharanpur (UP), Indien, fort und schloss 2019 seine Promotion in klinischer Biochemie ab.
