Ella Kim is a high school student, and she lives in New York City. Her brother's obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) diagnosis led to her interest in studying psychology and treatments for mental and behavioral disorders. She wrote her first book, How to Defeat Bully Brain: A Story About OCD, to help young children and their families combat OCD. Her second book, How to Defeat Bully Brain: OCD Detectives, helps children and families learn about the various subtypes of OCD.
