It's like being a detective, searching for clues, coming to the right conclusions, and then acting on what I learned. Like everyone else, I love trying to solve mysteries, and let's be honest, the Bible is somewhat of a mystery, even to those who have "studied" it for years. There are many good books out there demonstrating how to interpret and understand the Bible. Some go very deep in their explanations, while others stay closer to the surface. This book is designed to keep things simple, to give you a framework for how to understand the Bible. To begin, you will find some tools and methods available for understanding the Bible. There will also be detective work for you to try out your new skills. Then, in the second section, we will go through the entire Bible, looking at some of its structure and listening to witnesses to God's presence recorded in the Bible. We will find that there is a common theme throughout the Bible. It is hoped that you will have a desire to gain more knowledge as the Bible interacts with your life.
