Jean Frances Callahan, formally, Jean Frances Zinn (she was adopted at 44 years of age), lives in Southern Vermont with her fiancée' Chris and their two furry, four-legged feline children named Dasher and Echo. Jean taught High School Literature & Composition for 15 years before going back to school for a master's degree in forensic accounting. Jean firmly believes in continuing her education both formally and informally, using her education as fodder for her poems. While Jean studied Literature in Graduate School directly after college, she never chose poetry as her go-to genre.
