And it goes on ... We need to be ourselves with God and not something we we're supposed to be. What if God put on a "face" so as to hide his true character? Would that be honest? Is that what we want? Well, it certainly wouldn't be God. He called me for truth and intimacy with him, not a role, not a title - just a Father and his son. Questions. Struggles. Waiting. After so many, many years studying the Bible, following Jesus and just living this difficult existence ... I thought to write these things down. Do they matter? I don't know. But here they are, for what it's worth.
