His short stories have appeared in Fruit Journal, Queerlings, and Litro, and will be featured in the upcoming dif zine anthology in summer 2025. As the founder of dif, a network for queer writers, Sam is dedicated to amplifying voices working beyond the mainstream. He was also editor-in-chief for Queer Writing for a Brave New World and co-curated Audible UK's Pride List of Queer Storytelling in 2023. Sam is a peer at the Islington Mill Art Academy in Salford, UK.
