The characters in this novel are fictitious. Port Henry, however, like New York City, Chicago, or Paris, is real and, I believe, does make for a wonderful setting for a novel, especially if you grew up in Port Henry in the 1960s. Also real are the articles and poems taken from the Bulwaggian yearbooks of Port Henry High School.
