A new member of the team arrives as Miss Tongtong, an old pair of French hair curling tongs, emerges from beneath the brass fishing reels and joins the friends as they make their escape. However, sadly, not everyone makes it, and one of their dear friends is lost, and is much missed, particularly by Young Pinion. These little characters have much to teach children, and adults, for that matter, about how to live and work together, buffeted as they are by events beyond their control.
