Yazd is an ancient city with about one million population and many places to visit all around the year. Yazd has a rich historical cities such as Maybod, Abarkouh, Bafq, Ardakan and Taft. Although, this city is located at the edge of desert it has nice and cool nights and very hot days in summer.

Yahia Zare Mehrjerdi, PhD, is associate professor at Yazd University, department of industrial engineering where he teaches at the graduate and undergraduate levels. His research areas are: dynamic systems, multi criteria decision making, Health economics, and supply chain management with RFID technology integration.
