In the appendix section, the author has included: a list of negro and mulatto slaves, roster of various Revolutionary soldiers, Roster of various Civil War soldiers, Muster Rolls of the War of 1812. The second is a history of the townships with hundreds and hundreds of biographical sketches interspersed. All this is followed up with a New Index that was produced for this reprint which mentions approximately 23,000 persons.
