Its foreign policy vector is aimed at subordinating the world's states to the American dictate. This is manifested in the economic, political and cultural pressure of the United States. Most of the modern countries of the world that formally achieved state independence in the 20th century have fallen into another, no less (if not more) strong dependence, it is economic subordination. Many former colonies - de jure independent countries - are now de facto semi-colonies. Most countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the CIS remain in the orbit of global economic influence, playing the role of raw materials appendages. In turn, the world economy is focused on serving the interests of the "golden billion".
