Graduated the 1st Leningrad medical institute in 1952. In 1972 obtained PHD in medical sciences. Since 1973 worked at the Institute of experimental medicine, in atherosclerosis department, since 1990 professor of cardiology and theSenior scientific employee in the Institute of the Human Brain.
