After my retirement, I tentatively began writing short stories, which expanded into poetry, a medium that I enjoyed reading, and still do. My poems are the result of a lifetime experience and continue to this day, finding day-to-day expressions. As I have discovered, one's life is the basis for writing poetry. The poems in this book represent twenty years of thinking and a lifetime of experience.

Autor

I was born in Croatia during WWII, at the end of which my family immigrated to Australia as displaced people. I did all my education in Sydney, and graduated from Sydney University with a degree in science. I was a teacher of mathematics for thirty-six years.
