An escaped patient from the local mental hospital is found dead in a zoo. At the same time, Henri Beaumont awakens from a nightmare of the incident with injuries that match the deceased. As his powers grow, and the mystery unfolds, so does a sickness within, causing him to question whether this gift is actually a curse. Is it a coincidence that the mystery of the death leads him to the very same psychiatric facility the patient escaped from, with doctors who claim to specialize in the exact condition Henri finds himself with? Or has he just stumbled into a trap with no escape?
