Paul Kalb recently retired from Brookhaven National Laboratory where he spent 40+ years working as an environmental engineer/scientist. Paul and his wife Terry are devoted Mets fans and live on eastern Long Island and in Manhattan. They have two adult children and one grandchild. Paul has always enjoyed writing and has published a blog called Opinion8ed2 for over 15 years. It contains an eclectic assortment of mostly non-fiction articles on the arts, entertainment, politics, the environment, and miscellaneous rants. The latest issue and a link to more than 200 previous blogs written by the author are available at www.Opinion8ed2.wordpress.com. His memoir entitled, The Mystery Boy and Other Stories was published in 2023 and is available through Amazon and Barnes and Noble online.
