Spring's widowed mother lives with her and is convinced she is Irish (even though her mother was born in Kansas) and she throws potatoes at Peter's house to warn him not to trifle with her daughter's feelings. Spring learns there is a 200 year old treasure hidden in the house and she's convinced if she finds the treasure Prince Charming will marry her, all she has to do is make Peter fall in love with her, convince him her mother isn't crazy and find the treasure which has always been in plain sight.
