Whenever possible, the author has always maintained the order of chalcogenides, halides, pnictogenides, and other compounds when presenting the chemical compounds of the elements.
The introductory part, which illuminates the history of the respective element, often contains biographies of well-known researchers whose creative periods range from the near past to the Middle Ages. You will not only find portraits of chemists, but also of nuclear physicists, astronomers and medical doctors.
