Autor

Dr. VENKAT REDDY VAGVALA, is presently Visiting Professor for Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, and Institute of Public Enterprise Hyderabad. He is guest speaker at Administrative Staff College of India, Engineering Staff College of India, Centre of Plant Engineering Services, (COPES), Hyderabad Management Association, National Institute of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NIMSME), Central Institute of Rural Electrification (CIRE), Government of India, and many other institutions of repute. He is Member, Board of Studies, Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM) since 1982. He was the 9th in the country and the first from erstwhile Andhra Pradesh to be awarded the Distinguished Membership - the highest award for outstanding services rendered to Materials Management profession, besides other awards such as "Best Faculty Award", "Best Materials Manager of the year 1983-84 Award" and "Member of the year 1988-89 Award" by IIMM. He is Life Fellow of IIMM and Indian Institution of Plant Engineers and has been the Hon. Course Director, IIMM, Hyderabad since 1980. Presently he is a Management Consultant and has been teaching subjects such as MM, Operations Management, Product Management, Industrial Marketing, Services Marketing, SCM, Inventory Management, Purchase Management, World class Manufacturing, Global Sourcing, International Trade etc., at various Management Institutes. He worked as Chief Executive of a public sector company and also in private sector for more than a decade. His experience of teaching and practising ran concurrently.
