This book therefore provided a new dimension of finding factors that affect the provision of guidance and counseling with particular areas in mind such as Nakuru and Nairobi Study Centres. Variables used included age, sex, academic qualification, professionalism, race, work, experience and attitude of learners. Resident lecturers, administrators and students were the main population targets. The book therefore recommended that academic and administrative staff should give much attention to guidance and counseling to learners if distance learning objectives are to be realized.
