During the summer months when my granddaughters were young, they would come to stay awhile with me and my husband. They called our place, 'Grandma and Grandpa Camp.' We baked cookies, made ice cream, went swimming, sang, danced, and generally just had fun. Since both girls liked to draw, I wrote little verses for them to illustrate. It meant that we talked about issues which were ones my kindergarten children had voiced and which I had researched to find teachable answers.
