Author Teresia Simmons is an artist of many talents, world traveler, retired educator, and former caregiver whose husband passed of dementia. The Mahogany Musings Book Series, her life-long collection of poems, are reflective of the Black experience in America healing through the turbulence of life and grounded in the faith to make it through. She informs, performs and celebrates the magnificence of humanity and God's chosen people.
