Autor

Penny was inspired to write this poem after the loss of a family pet, Pekoe ('peak-oh'). After being confronted with a lot of new emotions, Penny decided to put pen to paper as a way to understand and cope with her grief. Penny decided to publish her work in the hope others may relate or find comfort in the story. This poem explores how over time, her view of grief has changed, and how her relationship with him has evolved.
