Author, Sharmeika Davis-Boyd has raised three children and now with her husband La'Ron Boyd, have the great pleasure of watching their grandchildren grow and develop. It is because of her experiences with her own children that she has decided to nurture a long-standing yearning for children all around the world to experience and enjoy the journeys of storytelling. She has developed a unique way of teaching important life lessons to children in a fun and interactive way through storytelling and song and now she is sharing that gift with kids across the globe - imparting useful learning tools that can be used in a child's everyday life. Sharmeika intends to instigate "Storytelling Time" in homes and educational facilities to promote open communications with children about things that impact them, their health, their safety, and their wellbeing. And to assure that each child understand the lessons in each book, there is a Question-and Answer conclusion to each story. The goal is not for the children to simply hear the story, but for each child to understand and remember the lesson. It is for this purpose that Mr. Knozi - the QikyKidz mascot - was birthed. Mr. Knozi is an inspiring character, encouraging all kids to be "NOSEY." Mr. Knozi is a catalyst to change the narrative of a child's inquisitive nature from a negative to a positive. Mr. Knozi's sole purpose is to promote the eagerness for children to ask as many questions that help a child understand things on their own individualized level. Stay tuned. Sharmeika Boyd is just getting started. And it has yet to be seen the impact that she will have on the landscape of educating our children.
