She loved books and stories, but someone told her that she needed a real job in life. So she decided to go to school to be a nurse. In nursing school, she was assigned to write a Care Study relating to that area of study. She wrote her studies as a story. A nursing instructor commented on the style of writing as a story, telling her to expand her writing. She started writing professional journal articles for "Today's OR Nurse" magazine and others.
After winning first place in the Federation of Woman's Club short story contest, she completed the Institute of Children's Literature course. She started selling children's stories to Scripture Press and others. Her joy in reading and writing is alive and well. Come join in this journey.
