This book shows Billy and his friend Yumyum the Alligator having a goal and including others, making them feel special. They all work together with pride to build more than a boat. During this adventure, they come across Dot who is showing signs of depression. She is sad, doesn't feel like doing anything or being with anyone, and doesn't want to ruin the experience for others.
