All three students shared their experiences from their perspective of the same boredom, thought they were smart, and learned from the background without confidence. All three students had a two-parent home with parents that were engaged with the family and kept up with the grading system. The parents, teachers, and students allowed researcher to investigate their perspectives to discuss their experiences through emergent interviews of the underrepresented Hispanic population.
