According to the last bibliography "The literatures of the peoples of the Caucasus - New translations and German-language bibliography" (2003) by Steffi Chotiwari-Jünger, this book presents a bibliography specifically for Georgian literature, which also includes the years 2000 to 2017, in there was a veritable boom in translations of Georgian works and the number of translations into German doubled.
The translated Georgian works are divided into anthologies, books, authors, anonyms and folklore, and individual works in magazines and newspapers are also listed. In addition to the bibliography, a chronological overview of the study of Georgian literature as well as the circumstances and peculiarities of translating Georgian literature into the Germanspeaking countries is given and the individual stages and the role of mediators, scientists, translators, institutions, etc. are named. The bibliography is a reference work for libraries, publishers, booksellers, translators, book fairs, students, cultural workers and general readers interested in Georgia.
