The intention of this work is to address the problem of resistance to antibiotics established for the treatment of Mycoplasma hominis and Ureaplasma urealyticum in people living in the city of Xalapa, Veracruz. Through this work it is possible to know the behavior of these pathogens and establish a background regarding the incidence of genital mycoplasmas in the population, the age range and gender with greater predominance, as well as the effectiveness of antibiotics, in order to administer the appropriate treatment.
