The present book is my thesis where i have explored the diversity status in three tropical tree species namely Gmelina arborea, Eucalyptus tereticornis and hybrids of Acacia.All the three species are economically important and requires a thorough understanding of their existing diversity status for further breeding progrmmes. The chapters include an elaborate review, methods of assessment and the results that we have obtained.

Autor

Madhan Shankar completed Bachelors and Masters in Biotechnology and then had his Phd in Tree breeding at IFGTB,Coimbatore. He has a rich teaching experience of over 10 years and has guided 25 Masters level projects. He has published 5 papers in reputed national and international journals.
