Autor

The author, Maurice L. Landrum worked 34 years in law enforcement. He began his career with the Los Angeles Police Department, where he worked a variety of Patrol, Specialized Units, as well as, the CRASH Gang Unit, Homicide as a detective, and numerous supervisory assignments as a supervisor. He attended Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and the University of Phoenix where he earned his degree in Criminal Justice and Security. As a police officer, detective and supervisor, he has attended numerous supervisory, command and executive leadership schools. He is a graduate of the Los Angeles Police Department WestPoint Leadership Program and the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association Trilogy Program. In October 2004, he was hired by the San Bernardino County District Attorney Office, Bureau of Investigation as a District Attorney Senior Investigator. In June 2012, he was promoted to the rank of District Attorney Supervising Investigator becoming the first African American promoted to that rank in their history. On December 24, 2016, after a exciting and satisfying career in law enforcement he retired honorably. He is a licensed private investigator and author.
